Which groups of creditors can be included in the proceedings, and which cannot?
A distinction is made between various groups of creditors under the StaRUG (the German Act on the Stabilisation and Restructuring Framework for Businesses), including secured creditors, ordinary restructuring creditors, subordinated restructuring creditors and holders of shares or membership rights. Employee claims are excluded.
